New Essay on Privatization at Roosevelt Institute/Salon’s “The 99% Plan”

I want to bring to your attention The 99 Percent Plan, a joint Roosevelt Institute and Salon series that explores how progressives can shape a new vision for the economy.  Curated by my colleague Sabeel Rahman, he has assembled a great group of writers to lay out a progressive approach to political economy.  New essays will appear every weekend for the next few weeks at Salon’s site.

The first essay, by Rahman, is The Progressive Vision America Needs, which lays out the general progressive response to conservative ideology.  The second essay is my contribution to the series, The Privatization Trap, which is a theoretical critique of privatization and the fixation of private, market means of doing the work of government.  I hope you check it out and share with others!
